3.1.Students are able to express meanings in transactional (to get things done) and interpersonal (with social contacts) dialogues to interact with their environment that involve expressions of asking and giving opinion in accurate, fluent, and appropriate ways.

9.      Goal                            :

At the end of this lesson, students are expected to be able to use the expressions of asking and giving opinion in their daily life appropriately, accurately, and fluently.

10.  Indicators                    :

1)   Completing dialogue with the correct words and expression related to asking and giving opinion.

2)   Reading aloud the dialogue with a correct pronounciation.

3)   Identifying the expresion of asking and giving opinion

4)   Acting with the expression of asking and giving opinion in front of the class appropriately, accurately, and fluently.

Task 1:

Complete the dialogue below using correct words available!

Interviewer        : Hey guys! Nice to see you again. Welcome back in the “Young    

                            Learners” Program. I’m Lala, your host. Guys, this time I’d like to

                          interview a high school student, named Melissa. Good morning, Melissa.

Melissa              : Good morning, Lala. Morning guys. Nice to see you.

Interviewer        : Well, guys. In this occasion we’d talk about an interesting topic. Guess what it is…..uhuh…….it’s HOMEWORK! Okay, Melissa do your teachers always give you homework to do at home ?

Wakidjan and Tukidjo went to a piano recital featuring Nadine, a very beautiful pianist

Wakidjan was amused when he listened Nadines piano recital...he clapped his hands and
yelled:

"Not a play! Not a play!"

"Amazing...amazing. .."

Nadine was confused. "Not a play?"

"Yes. Not a play. Bukan main."

Tukidjo who accompanied Wakidjan at that time was stunned.

"Bukan main itu bukan not a play, Djan."

"Your granny (Mbahmu). Humanly I have check my dictionary kok.. (Orang saya sudah periksa
di kamus kok)"

He then turned his head to Nadine. "Lady, let's corner (Mojok yuk).
But don't think that are nots (Jangan berpikir yang bukan-bukan) . I just want a meal together." (saya hanya mau makan sama-sama)

"Ngaco kamu, Djan," Tukidjo said.

"Don't be surplus (Jangan berlebihan), Djo. Be wrong a little is OK toch.?†(salah sedikit ok toch)

Nadine could only smile a little. "I would love to, but ..."

"Sorry if my friend make you not delicious (Maaf kalau teman saya bikin kamu jadi nggak enak)" Wakidjan responded friendly.
"Different river, maybe (Lain kali barangkali). I will not be various kok (Saya nggak akan macam-macam kok)."

After Nadine
left, Wakidjan looked at Tukidjo resentfully.

"Disturbing aja sih, Djo. Does the language belong to your ancestor (Emang itu bahasa punya moyang lu)?"

Tukidjo sought for a closing line.

"Just itchy Djan, because you speak English as delicious as your belly button." (Gatel aja, Djan, soalnya kamu ngomong Inggris seenak udelmu dewe).

Wakidjan could only grumble, "His name is also effort." (Namanya juga usaha).
