3. Students are able to express meaning in transactional and interpersonal dialogues to interact with their environment.
8.      Basic Competence                  :
3.1.Students are able to express meanings in transactional (to get things done) and interpersonal (with social contacts) dialogues to interact with their environment that involve expressions of asking and giving opinion in accurate, fluent, and appropriate ways.
9.      Goal                            :
At the end of this lesson, students are expected to be able to use the expressions of asking and giving opinion in their daily life appropriately, accurately, and fluently.

10.  Indicators                    :
1)   Completing dialogue with the correct words and expression related to asking and giving opinion.
2)   Reading aloud the dialogue with a correct pronounciation.
3)   Identifying the expresion of asking and giving opinion
4)   Acting with the expression of asking and giving opinion in front of the class appropriately, accurately, and fluently.

Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks monolog/esei yang menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam teks berbentuk: narrative.

Siswa dapat menulis teks narrative pendek.

The Legend of Kesodo Feast
Hundreds years ago, the last king of Majapahit had a young princess from one of his wives. The princess was named Roro Anteng. Later, Roro Anteng married Joko Seger, who came from Brahman caste.
Because of unfortunate situation the couple was forced to leave the kingdom. They settled in the mountain area. They ruled the area and named it Tengger, which was derived from their names, Roro Anteng and Joko Seger.

1.      Diberi sebuah teks narrative pendek yang terdiri dari 350 kata dengan tingkat kosa kata kurang lebih 1.500 kata dan terdiri dari 4 paragraf, siswa SMA kelas X semester 2 dapat memahami informasi faktual dalam teks tersebut paling sedikit 5 informasi.
2.      Diberi sebuah teks narrative pendek yang terdiri dari 350 kata dengan tingkat kosa kata kurang lebih 1.500 kata dan terdiri dari 4 paragraf, siswa SMA kelas X semester 2 dapat menerangkan fungsi teks tersebut paling sedikit 2 fungsi dari teks narrative.
3.      Diberi sebuah teks narrative  pendek yang terdiri dari 350 kata dengan tingkat kosa kata kurang lebih 1.500 kata dan terdiri dari 4 paragraf, siswa SMA kelas X semester 2 dapat menerangkan langkah-langkah retorika dalam teks narrative pendek paling sedikit 4 langkah.


11.  Materi Pembelajaran               :
CINDERELLA
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Cinderella. She lived with her step mother and two step sisters. The step mother and sisters were conceited and bad tempered. They treated Cinderella very badly. Her step mother made Cinderella do the hardest works in the house; such as scrubbing the floor, cleaning the pot and pan and preparing the food for the family. The two step sisters, on the other hand, did not work about the house. Their mother gave them many handsome dresses to wear.
